Production Activities Calendar

A week-at-a-glance view of everything scheduled on the factory floor — shop orders, requisitions and picking — with search filters that follow you as you move between weeks.

The Production Activities Calendar lays out a full working week (Monday to Saturday) as columns, with a card for every activity due in that week. It pulls together the three streams of work that hit the factory floor — production shop orders, requisitions and picking — so you can see at a glance what is due, for whom, and how far along it is.

Each card is colour-coded by completion status, can be searched and filtered, and links back to the underlying project. Use the calendar as your daily planning board and to spot bottlenecks before they become late deliveries.

Where to Find It

Manufacture → Calendar.

The calendar opens on the current week. Use the chevron_left previous and chevron_right next arrows to move a week at a time, the today today icon to jump straight back to the current week, or the date picker to jump to any week. Whichever way you move, the calendar always shows the full Monday–Saturday week that contains the date you land on.

Reading a Project Card

Each card summarises one scheduled activity — the customer, the project reference and any notes — and shows the next scheduled activity date where one exists. The coloured status dot tells you the progress at a glance:

Status dot Meaning
Red Not complete — nothing on this activity has been finished yet.
Amber Partially completed — some of the work is done.
Green Completed.
Special characters display correctly. Project cards for customers whose company name, reference or notes contain special characters — such as quotation marks — display and filter correctly. (Previously these characters could distort a card’s layout or stop it matching a search.)

Filtering the Calendar

The filter row across the top narrows the cards shown in the week. Filtering happens instantly as you type or change a selection — there is no separate “search” button.

Filter What it matches
Customer name / reference The customer’s company name or the project reference on the card.
Keyword A free-text search across street, name, email and project details on the card.
Type The kind of activity — Manufacture, Requisitions or Picking. Leave on All Types to see everything.
Category The project category, drawn from your configured project categories (or Not Specified).
Rep The staff member the work is assigned to.
Your filters follow you between weeks. When you change the date — with the date picker or the previous / next week arrows — the filters you have entered are re-applied automatically to the cards shown for the new week. Your most recent filter selection is also remembered, so it is still in place the next time you open the calendar. To clear a filter, empty the box or set the drop-down back to its All… option.
